How International Students Eat in Kamloops

When it comes to shopping for food, the kinds of items anyone needs differs vastly because of many different factors. This can be from things such as dietary restrictions, allergies, cultural staples, and more. The main focus today was on cultural staples and dietary restrictions as Kamloops has a large international population because of Thompson River University residing here. With so many different cultures present from the university students, does Kamloops have a good selection of food options for the international population, or does it desperately need to be upgraded? We asked some TRU students about the availability of foods they can eat as well as ingredients for more specialized cooking.
